BROWSING
Your drugstorewest.com browsing experience will be most effective if you are using
an updated web browser such as Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or Mozilla FireFox,
and your display resolution is set to at least 1024x768dpi.
NAVIGATION
The navigation system on drugstorewest.com is based around the idea of "tabbed browsing," which means that the tabs you see at the
top of the screen are buttons that you can use to navigate to different areas of the site.
At the top of your screen you will see the hyperlinked tabs "Home," "General Merchandise," "Health and Beauty," "Medical Supplies," "Over the Counter," and "Monthly Specials."
Navigating the Home tab simply returns you to the drugstorewest.com home page, while navigating the other tabs will display a list of products from the category you requested.
The "Monthly Specials" tab will open a new browser window and display the most current promotions available only in-store (not online).
There are also hyperlinks at the bottom of the screen that you can follow to view copyright and privacy information.
On the right-hand side of the screen are various other navigation tabs and/or information that you can follow or view.
PRODUCTS
When you navigate the tabs at the top of the screen, you will be shown a list of products corresponding
to the category indicated. The display is in a tabular format. You can click on the "Item," "Description," "Price," or "Order Unit" column
headers to sort the data you are looking at. Additionally, you can click on the numbers at the bottom of the table to navigate through
the available pages of products.
When you are ready to view product details or when you are ready to order a product, click on the product number in the "Item" column. After doing so,
you will be taken to the item details screen. If available, an image will be displayed along with product details of the product that you requested.
SEARCHING PRODUCTS
If you wish to search for a particular product, simply enter your search criteria into the search box located underneath
the product navigation tab and click the Search Button. Generally, simple keywords will produce the most likely results.
For example, to search for Tylenol Extra Strength Caplets, try using the keyword "tylenol."
If a large number of results are returned, they will be separated into multiple pages, which you can navigate by
navigating the numbers at the bottom of the table.
ORDERING
After you click on a product, you will be taken to its details screen. You will see product details, price, and if available, an image of the product.
You will also notice a link underneath the table that you can follow to add the item to your shopping cart.
When you add the item to your cart, you will see the price, description, and quantity of your order. You will also be able to adjust your order, continue shopping,
or checkout. You can follow the directions in the shopping cart to continue with and finalize your order.
